Most of all, we appreciate the critical importance of fundamental fairness and positive perception, as well as efficiency and cost-effectiveness, in the design and implementation of employee benefits programs.

Strategy & Solution
Our Benefits Group attorneys understand that successful companies have competing priorities. We work in partnership with private employers, financial institutions, non-profit groups, government agencies, and other decision-makers to address these priorities in an appropriately detailed action plan. We guide employers, agents, brokers, and other fiduciary agents in making sound, informed decisions, identifying the impact of these decisions, and providing concrete support when these decisions lead to change.

Our experience working with health plans, hospitals, physician groups, brokers, agents, third-party administrators, employers and employees has given us the skill to guide companies through the complexities of plan designs and integrated programs. We suggest new products or benefits and make sure the employer is complying with new laws and requirements. We also provide tools to help employers gain “buy-in” from their employees.

We understand that changes to employee benefits often cause concern because health and financial matters are at stake. When we counsel clients about these types of changes, we balance the sensitivities of all concerned, recognizing the importance to our clients of capturing the mindshare and engendering the enthusiasm of the employees.
