Conley in the firm's real estate practice; and associates Devan McCarty and Martin G. Brownstein, health care practice; and Benjamin G. Elliott, business services group. “In response to increasing demand by our clients, we are reinforcing and expanding our strongest practices of business, construction, health care, public law and real estate,” said Jeffry R. Joining McDonough’s real estate group as of counsel, Conley has more than 10 years’ international experience handling joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance, securitization, and commercial and real estate litigation. Conley spent six years with the largest law firm in Japan, Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law (1992) and his B.A. from the University of California, Davis (1988). McCarty served as an associate with Bingham McCutchen LLP before joining McDonough’s health care practice, where his experience includes physician discipline and health care operational, regulatory and dispute resolution matters. He has represented clients in diverse civil litigation matters, including labor and employment, breach of contract, partnership, real estate, tort claims, unfair competition, administrative mandate, and class actions. McCarty earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (1999) after earning his B.S.C. from Santa Clara (1996).
