Press ReleasesMcDONOUGH, HOLLAND & ALLEN ELEVATES THREE ATTORNEYS TO SHAREHOLDER SACRAMENTO/OAKLAND, May 13, 2003 – McDonough, Holland & Allen, one of Northern California's legal leaders representing both public and private sector clients, elevates four attorneys to shareholder: André K. Campbell and Stacey N. Sheston in Sacramento, and Thomas R. Curry in Oakland. 'The last year has been one of strong and strategic growth for the firm, and 2003 marks our 50th anniversary, a definitive milestone," said David F. Beatty, managing shareholder, McDonough, Holland & Allen. "Rising stars like André, Tom and Stacey promise to help lead McDonough and its clients through the next 50 years of business and legal evolution." A member of McDonough's construction/surety section, Campbell counsels and litigates on all aspects of construction law for public and private clients, including owners, contractors and sureties. He previously served as a major in the U.S. Air Force, where he drafted, negotiated, reviewed and awarded numerous complex, multi-million-dollar contracts for research and development and space hardware. Campbell earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles (1996), his M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York (1991), and his B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy (1981). Curry is a member of the firm's public agency and redevelopment section, and has trial experience in land use related to the California Environmental Quality Act, the Public Records Act and general municipal law. He has been actively involved in establishing claims administration procedures, revising and recodifying the municipal code. and promulgating personnel rules and growth control policies for the City of Livermore. Prior to joining McDonough, Curry served as city attorney for the City of Livermore, assistant city attorney for Walnut Creek, and deputy city attorney for Hayward. He earned his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California, San Francisco (1970) and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley (1966). A member of McDonough's employment/labor, redevelopment and public agency sections, Sheston represents both public agencies and private clients on a wide variety of matters in the spheres of public, municipal and employment law, as well as eminent domain and public agency litigation. She also counsels public entities on various labor and employment law matters. Sheston currently serves as general counsel to the Rio Linda Elverta Water District, deputy city attorney for the City of Marysville and assistant to the city attorney for the City of Davis. She earned her J.D. from King Hall School of Law, University of California, Davis (1996) and her B.A., cum laude, from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa (1990). |
