Clarke earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law (1988) and further earned an LL.M. from McGeorge in Taxation (1989). Also recognized for his work in Tax Law, Leet is a Board Member and Secretary of the firm. He is part of the firm’s Business Services group where his practice includes all aspects of corporate, partnership and personal income tax planning. He specializes in advising clients on formation and operation of partnerships, and planning and implementing corporate reorganization and business acquisitions. Leet is a frequent speaker and author on tax issues, and is a certified specialist in taxation. He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association – Tax Section and a past board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Association. He is currently president of Arden Carmichael, Inc. and is past president of the Sacramento Transportation Management Association. Leet earned his J.D. from University of Santa Clara Law School (1979) and further earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida (1981). Spottiswood has been practicing law for almost 50 years and has been on the Best Lawyers list in the Real Estate Law category since 1991. A member of the firm’s Real Estate group, his practice focuses on real property transactions of all kinds, including straight loans, participating or shared appreciation loans, convertible loans, purchase-leasebacks, joint ventures and partnerships.
