Mathes and Benjamin D. Winig as associates to its Oakland office, bringing the total number of Oakland attorneys to 14 and 107 attorneys firmwide. The Sacramento office also got a large boost as seven attorneys were added this month. “Ned’s addition is in direct response to the demand for Bay Area services from our health care clients. Client requests for resources out of Oakland is a great compliment to our team,” added Ann O’Connell, shareholder and head of the firm’s health care law practice. “MHA is thrilled with its dynamic growth firmwide and looks forward to continued client demand and responsive expansion, with special attention to our Oakland office, in the second half of 2005,” said managing shareholder, Jeff Jones. “Ned and Ben’s additions will further strengthen our core services in the Bay Area market.” Mathes joins McDonough's health care law group where his practice will focus on health care regulatory, operational, and policy matters.
