Egawa, of counsel, and Kelley M. Lincoln, associate, to the real estate practice. “Tad and Kelley offer solid experience and diverse professional backgrounds, which will be advantageous to our clients and an ideal complement to our comprehensive real estate offerings,” said Jeffry R. Jones, managing shareholder at McDonough. “We continue to expand our real estate practice, and in this vein, we continue to recruit well-rounded attorneys who exemplify our commitment to client service and our firmwide values.” Egawa's practice includes the negotiation and documentation of real estate purchases, sales and development; lease transactions involving office, industrial and retail property; and other real estate-based transactions. Most recently assistant general counsel with The Ryland Group, Inc., he also has served as an associate with Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. Egawa earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center (1996) and his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley (1989). Lincoln joins from Ryan & Fong where her practice encompassed commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation. She brings federal and state trial experience, often serving as lead counsel, in Sacramento, San Joaquin, Los Angeles and San Diego County Courts. Previous experience includes internships with the California State Assembly – first for Bob Hertzberg in his capital office, and then for Darrell Steinberg in his district office. Lincoln received her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law (2002) and her B.A. from California State University, Chico (1999).
