McDonough will continue to expand the real estate and public law groups to meet the demands of our current clients, as well as to serve new clients throughout California.” Holtz joined McDonough as of counsel in 2004, where her practice focuses on all aspects of real estate law, including residential developments, master-planned communities, and commercial developments. In her short time at the firm, Holtz has served as lead counsel in two of the largest real estate transactions in Northern California. Her clients include some of the top national and local homebuilders and commercial developers in the country. Holtz earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (1996) and a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1993). Walsh has been a public law attorney with McDonough since 1999, where his practice focuses on redevelopment law, land use and general municipal law. His clients include cities, redevelopment agencies and private developers, and he currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Rio Vista. Walsh is a co-author of Redevelopment in California (3d edition, 2004), and is a regular lecturer on redevelopment law, land use and public records issues. Walsh earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (1999) and a B.A. in History at the University of California, Davis (1995).
