Records Clerk

McDonough is currently seeking a Records Clerk to support multiple sections of the firm, including litigation. Candidates should have some knowledge of organization and procedures related to file and records management, preferably within a law firm environment. Candidates need to have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently within a deadline driven environment. Candidates should also have strong communication skills and be able to work with attorneys, staff and clients in a professional manner. Previous litigation filing and LegalKey software experience preferred.

 

OAKLAND OFFICE

Office Coordinator / Litigation Secretary

McDonough is currently seeking an Office Coordinator/Litigation Secretary to work in the Oakland office. The Office Coordinator / Litigation Secretary will report to the Oakland office Shareholder in Charge and to the firm's Executive Director and will provide office coordination and secretarial support for the Oakland Office. This position is responsible for supervision of office staff including secretaries, facilities management and office services, and will also provide hands-on secretarial support to the Shareholder in Charge. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience as a legal secretary, preferably in large firm environment supporting multiple attorneys, as well as a minimum of 3 years experience handling office administration duties such as performance management, workflow coordination and facilities support. Candidates should have strong technical, communication and organizational skills. Litigation experience required, and experience in public law preferred. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy and solid attention to detail. Bachelor's degree required.
