Professional Experience

For more than 30 years, Zac Smith has conducted trials and arbitration hearings in a broad range of cases and in a variety of settings. In addition to representing public entities, developers, lenders, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, employers, corporations and individuals, Zac has served as a judge pro tem, arbitrator and mediator for the Placer County Superior and Municipal Courts, the Nevada County Superior Court, the El Dorado County Superior Court and the American Arbitration Association.

Prior to Zac’s legal work he was a carpenter for residential homebuilder Ditz-Crane Construction Company in Santa Clara, California and an English teacher at Head Royce School in Oakland, California.
