Professional Experience

Bob has been a construction lawyer for more than 30 years. He specializes in construction and surety law and litigation, and alternative dispute resolution, both as an advocate and as an arbitrator and mediator. Bob represents general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, and owners in connection with both public works and private construction projects. He has been a speaker on various construction law topics for the Associated General Contractors of California, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Arbitration Association, and California Continuing Education of the Bar.

Prosecution of differing site conditions claim against AT&T arising from project to place telecommunications line under the Columbia River by horizontal directional drilling.

Lead attorney defending municipality in connection with claims arising from design/build airfield hanger project.
