Professional Experience

Brad joined McDonough Holland & Allen’s Real Estate practice group in 2007. His practice focuses on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the representation of lenders in real property secured financing (including restructurings). His experience includes all types of commercial lending transactions, such as construction loans, take-out loans and permanent loans. His practice also includes negotiation and documentation of leasing and subleasing transactions, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, corporate and limited liability formation (including buy-sell agreements and operating agreements), and other real estate and corporate-related transactions.

He has experience preparing CC&Rs for common interest developments, residential subdivisions and mixed-use developments, and has advised clients on numerous issues arising under the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act and the Real Estate Commissioner’s Regulations for planned and master developments. As a summer associate with a firm in New York, he worked on various matters for entertainment and publishing industry clients.

Representative Matters

Lead Associate representing Lender for $15 million secured take-out loan.

Lead Associate advising Sutter Health on mixed-use development issues arising under the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, preparing CC&Rs for governance of the development.
