Norman M. Levedahl | Attorney
Professional Experience
Norman joined McDonough Holland & Allen PC in March 2008 as a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He specializes in transactional work with a particular emphasis on commercial banking, financial transactions and distressed asset workouts.
Norman began his legal career as an intern for the California State Department of Justice assisting with legal research and trial preparation. Before joining McDonough, Norman was a commercial business banking officer for U.S. Bank in San Francisco. His responsibilities included business development and financial analyses of prospective commercial property acquisitions for debt placement. In addition to his banking experience, Norman handled complex contractual issues as an assistant project and asset manager for HRI Properties in New Orleans. He assisted with the development and implementation of financial and legal strategies to maximize the value of HRI’s multi-million dollar distressed assets portfolio to meet investor’s targeted rates of return. Norman has previous experience as an intern acquisitions analyst for Berkeley Land Company and as a research analyst for Grubb & Ellis, where he evaluated real property investment alternatives for proposed acquisitions.
Norman’s experience in commercial banking, complex asset analysis, and large portfolio asset management, from both the banking and principal perspective, adds another dimension to McDonough’s real estate, finance and banking teams.
