Professional Experience
Tom Capriola joined McDonough Holland & Allen PC in 2007 as a member of the firm’s Public Law practice group in Oakland. His practice includes advisory, litigation, and transactional services to cities, counties, redevelopment agencies and other public entities. As a summer associate with the firm in 2006, Tom gained valuable experience in a wide range of municipal issues including Proposition 218 compliance, land use, public contracting, city ordinances, and public agency litigation.
Tom has interned for the San Francisco City Attorney's Office and has served as a legislative correspondent for Congressman Doug Ose, United States House of Representatives. Prior to law school, Tom spent nine months in the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, a full-time, post-graduate fellowship that included internships at numerous private and public agencies in the Bay Area, including the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, Stone & Youngberg LLC, Alameda County Office of Education, California Teachers' Association, and Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
