Karen Wilhelmi | Director of Finance As Director of Finance, Karen Wilhelmi has oversight responsibility for financial management for McDonough Holland & Allen PC. She manages all of the firm's finance and accounting affairs. Karen is a certified public accountant and brings more than 17 years of executive financial management experience to McDonough. She began her professional career with Coopers and Lybrand originally in the San Jose office and then in the Sacramento office. In 1990, Karen joined MTS, Incorporated (Tower Records/Video/Books) as Assistant Controller and ultimately served as Vice President and Controller. During Karen's 15-year tenure at Tower, she was primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the company's domestic stores, consolidation of other domestic and international subsidiaries, and all related internal and external financial reporting. Most recently, Karen was Brokerage Assistant Controller with E*Trade Financial in Rancho Cordova. Subsequent to the Rancho site closure in 2006, Karen was working out of E*Trade's Arlington, Virginia office as Director, Brokerage Accounting, where she managed the accounting group responsible for the company's brokerage customers. Karen received her B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting from California State University, Chico in 1986. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Karen is a former Board Member of the Chemical Dependency Center for Women (CDCW) in Sacramento. |
